Sorry, that won't work automatically.  As another poster mentioned, you 
may have a little webspace somewhere else that you can configure for 
that domain, and modify the index.html file to refresh at 0 seconds to 
your homepage.mac.com site.  But your users will know that they're at 
*.mac.com and not your domain.
