yeah, i'd heard that.  interesting, but even though i used to dislike 
maxtor, i just don't care like i used to.

obviously i'm no longer a sysadmin.  i love just being a user.  with 
root, of course (please please don't start on the not su'ing or 
enabling root.  pretty please!)
