[CUBE] OT:surprise Bomb in OS X??

Uh, no.  Micro$oft and Apple have made you believe this.  My Solaris and Linux
boxes never crash - sometimes though, you need to find a stable configuration
(kernel version, etc...).  The GUI software may crash, but that doesn't kill
the OS, you just restart the GUI portion.

OS/2 had a nifty setup where it was able to automagically restart the GUI if
it got completely hosed.  I've seen Finder do that, but I don't know if Quartz
underneath is able to do that.

In any case, my Cube with 10.2.4 died with this nify "bomb screen" yesterday.
I was not happy.
