Rob,
   The only thing to be said in favor of the Formac Software is that 
it's free for all practical purposes.  Every external DVD superdrive 
that I've seen runs about $399.95.  Then you have to buy authoring 
software, because iDVD won't work.  This stuff's free, so if it does 
what you want...  By the way did you try the new version of the software?
