[CUBE] cube lust

There's a pretty lengthy discussion of it in the cubeowner.com forums.

The hack is very similar to the radeon 8500 hack discussed at
xlr8yourmac.com

It involves relocating the dc board to make room for the card...and
expanding the hole in the back (dremel or something) so that both the
dvi-i and adc connectors will fit through it.

Unlike the 8500 hack, it seems you don't have to actually nibble a
piece off the card itself to get it to fit.

The main problem is heat.

running the cube out of its enclosure seems to keep it to a reasonable
temperature, but running it inside seems to cause heating problems.

The folks at cubowner playing with this hack are experimenting with
different solutions to cool the card.
