OT LDAP DATABASE

I know it's kinda off topic, bur we have set up a LDAP Database server,
which runs on NOVEL and NETWARE with all user accounts at my University -
now we wanna use this data with out OS X computers - the aim is we wanna
administrate the Macs and the Jaguar Workgroup Manager, so u can log on
everywhere with ur personal account and that the home dir is automatically
mounted and the personal preferences can be used. But we don't want a double
User-database - the LDAP should be used and if possible also under M$
Winblows, but that only priority 2
