Ok, got no answer but I'm assuming the card I have is 4MX. Here is the problem: The card was pulled from dual gig Quicksilver and was used with 22" cinema display. It was working fine when we pulled it out. Then it was lying in my desk for a couple of months. Just yesterday I realized it is not 2MX card and will not fit in my Cube. Lucky as I am, a friend agreed to give me his Radeon 7500 in exchange for this card. He's got a Quicksilver 733. However, I have spent most of the afternoon trying to make the card work on his machine. When powering up, two things would happen: either the card would send signal to the monitor (black screen though) and machine would not boot. The other thing would be that the monitor wakes up for a second and then goes dead, but the machine boots up with no video. I remember reading about that you need to upgrade to latest firmware and to reset the main board. I have tried resetting the logic board but that did not help. The machine has firmware 4.33f1, and there does not seem to be any kind of firmware update for Quicksilvers. One of these days I will try it in different machine, but I doubt that the card is broken. Any ideas? I need that radeon :))))
