Please help with monitor!

Hi there cube ppl!

I have just brought a cheap 15" LCD display for my cube which refuses to
work at 1024x768! I have managed to get it to go to it by using a third
party utility but I want my machine to recognise it!

In monitors control panel, it only says 640x480 in 2 refresh rates and thats
under the 'all' pull-down menu!

I'm using 9.2.2, 448mb RAM, 20gb cube.
