shuts down/no reason

Hoping this group of super experts can help with a very strange problem.

Client has Cube (close to a year), 640 MB Ram, 15" studio display, built 
in CD-RW, UPS, ethernet network w/12 other Macs, 4 HP printers, directly 
connected to USB Epson C82, using Jaguar.

Recently, cube has started to shut-down for no apparent reason. Have run 
all utilities (fsck -y, MacJanitor, etc) and can not isolate what the 
heck is going on. This is not a coma - this is off as in power lights 
are gone and when pressed result in start up bong. Have also checked to 
make sure nothing is on the power supply. Nothing has changed in the 
physical environment.

Any ideas?
