Sorry, I made a mistake.
I meant to recommend the Epson Perfection 3200 Photo. I got carried away
with a search on Google. The one I have is a Perfection 2450, and IT
delivers those wonderful scans.
The 3200 is its successor, and I have no reason to believe it isn't at least
as good.
