[CUBE] Formatting in external firewire drive

I have had this volumes/partitions disappearing in Jag installer

Try resetting the open firmware - hold down cmd-opt-O-F on startup until you
get a command line.

Then type:

reset-nvram
reset-all

The Cube will then reboot and your partitions should show up again.
