[CUBE] loudness of USB speakers

Hello Phil,

I found that if I plug the speakers in to my monitor (Apple 17" LCD 
Studio Display), I get a noticeably lower volume.
Better to plug your speakers in directly to the computer.(USB socket 
number I read somewhere)
