[CUBE] need a Firewire CD-R/DVD-R mechanism?

I'd recommend a Teac. They have never failed on me and are supported by 
iTunes/Burner.

Personally I decided against it. DVD recorders are slower than their 
CD-R counterparts at recording CD's. Since I record much more CD's and 
I rarely have a need to record a DVD, the choice was clear.
