trouble with external floppy disk drive

Dear Everyone: Ok, the deal is fixed. I went to the dealer /manuf site, and 
there was a special report on two images showing up on desktop for mac cube. I 
downloaded a new driver and installed it and everything is perfect. 

It doesnt explain why a perfectly fine VST drive worked for a long time and 
then suddenly didn't, but hey, it all works now.
Gremlins again, I guess.

Anyway, it was interessting because ther are different fixes for os 9 and 
9.1, and 9.2 etc.
