[CUBE] Shutdown and Restart Problems

Looks to me like it's related to one of those pesky shareware programs 
from the Aladdin set. Study what they do and find the one that might 
have a related "feature" that you might want to uninstall. Have you 
phoned Aladdin to ask them what's up?
