For better airflow cooling, Seagate has a 40 GB 5400 RPM hard disk that is 0.79 inches high (19.99 mm). It is 25-percent thinner, ideal for fanless systems. My first question is, will this device work with the Apple upgrade instructions and fit the Cube? 

Second question, since this is an entry-level hard disk - RPM wise - would it be incapable of digital video editing?

Third, could this slow Barracuda be used internally, with a fast external Firewire hard disk for DV editing?
