I want to have my iTunes server running all the time, I have two Macs that make no noise, a cube with 17" LCD, and a fanless slot-loading iMac. When I let either of the sleep the are unable to respond to network access (unlike my old 233 iMac). I want to know which would use less power if I were to not let it sleep. The iMac seems to run the CRT all the time unless I let it sleep so that seems to be a lot of dollars for electricity, but the LCD doesn't turn all the way off either when I choose to let the display sleep. Both just put up a black display. I have a PC laptop that also doesn't make noise but it won't run iTunes. -Randy ===== ¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º° Randy Spencer (510) 769-1949 AIM:RanSpen Citrus Insight #5427 http://geocities.com/israndy __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
