[CUBE] Flickering display!

It is my understanding that our flat screens are illuminated from 
behind by fluorescent tubes.  When fluorescent tubes get old, they 
begin to flicker at the ends where the electrodes are located.  This 
could be what you are observing.  On the other hand, I am no expert, 
and I may be totally wrong.
