[CUBE] New HDD problems

I installed the 180 Gd version in my Cube. You do not need any jumpers 
at all, since there is only one drive in a cube. See this link for info 
and diagram for single (standard installation) :

then when it is in and you go to install the system software, the drive 
won't be recognized at first. Open the disk utilities as Allan 
explained and reformat the drive. Use the journalled choice if you are 
installing Panther. After the drive is reformatted, it will show up in 
the installer for the system software. Good luck and enjoy the new 
drive.
