GigaDesigns seems to be not using 7457 (yet) either...

So I guess only PL is the one and only introducing the 7457. And yes, that may explain the cost increase. Nevertheless, can't see a reason for Giga vs Sonnet difference.

I have taken a peek at OWC offerings...why is Sonnet CPU upgrade so 
much cheaper compared to Powerlogix and even Giga? Just beacuse they 
are not using 7457 G4 CPU?
The sleep ability is most important for me, so I was aiming for 
Sonnet...
