AFAIK, external drives are not iSuite compatible, though there are a few patches working pretty good as workarounds.

Hello list i was thinking about taking a look at some local stores 
today for a dvd recordable drive to use with my cube that i will use in 
my external firewire quefire box which now has a cdrw  8x4x32 from 
quefire, does anyone know if it will work and what i should look for 
that will compatible with OSX and the i suite?
