[CUBE] Hitachi hard drives

in my server room(s), i manage over 40 TB of data.  1/2 of it's on 
hitachi high end fibre disks.  they fail about 2x as often as do their 
main competitor's disks.

just a little data point.  i have no idea how quiet they are, though :) 
  data centers are loud as all get out.
