It's 20 minutes away from finishing, and the air from the top is noticeably hotter (which is probably more the 160gb HD than the 7457 card), but this is the 3rd time I've done this...let it encode my FCP4 edit overnight using compressor...with no problems whatsoever. It takes about 6-7 hours to encode. No crashes, no freezes, no hiccups in the video. My Cube is exactly the same as yours except: 1.2ghz 7457 160gb HD (to get the full 128gb) DVD slotload 1.5gb RAM LaCie L2 8x DVD-/+RW Radeon 7500 and tons of firewire devices thru a 6 port firewire hub. Good luck with your choice. I'm extremely happy with the 7457. Powerlogix did a great job with these new cards. It sleeps fine too. jesse .
