[Cube] 15" Studio Display on the fritz

You know that cute little"light-on-a-cable" gadget that plugs into a 
USB port, and illuminates the keyboard?

Well, I plugged one into the USB port of my Cube's keyboard (while the 
system was running), and instantly, it caused the 15" Studio Display to 
go black.

Can anyone tell me whether there might be an easy-to-replace fuse 
inside the Display somewhere? Or am I really and truly SOL?
