[Cube] The Mini is so... small

Just to add another facet to the "Mini vs. Cube" debate: instead of
going for another round of Cube upgrades, I finally decided to get a
Mini as a companion. I moved the external disks, DVD burner, printer,
scanner and all services I could (DHCP, DNS, SMTP, IMAP, Web, Print,
iTunes) onto the Mini, which sits hidden away behind the desk as a
server now. The Cube remains the main machine on the desk, of course,
but now that all the tasks that were bogging it down are offloaded to
the Mini, I feel like I just prolonged the Cube's useful life by a
few years. Plus, now the Cube sleeps again, even with the Gigadesigns
1.4 CPU card.

Cheers,
Christian

ps: my external disks have FW400 as well as USB2 interfaces. Since
the Mini has both too, I was wondering whether anybody here has done
speed comparisons.
