Have you had bad experiences with a Griffin iMic?

Mine have been good, and the digitization of analog input (what I use 
the iMic for primarily) seems on par with the DA sections of my Sony 
mini-disc decks (ones with Toslink out as well as in), or an M-audio 
Flying Cow (which disappeared from my studio office to one of my son's 
computers)

Good enough sound that  I don't mind at all using the iMic, and if it 
were to disappear (with a visiting child), it would only cost $35 to 
replace (beats the h*ll out of that $150 bargain Flying Cow).
