[Cube] Studio Display

A 17" Apple Studio Display (CRT) came with the Cube I got the other day.

Now that I've transferred all my files to the Cube and was ready to  
set it up on my desk replacing my eMac, I've come to find out that  
this display is TOO TALL for my desk!

Anyone know how to take the base off the Studio Display. I figured  
the cord could simply hang off the edge. But I can't figure out how  
to take it off. does anyone know if there are instructions on the  
internet?
