[Cube] upgrade

Congratulations,

a good used machinery :-)

Over here in germany several cube owners seem to 
get tired of there beloved objects.
This week someone offered his with 1.2 GHz 
upgrade, 1,25 GB RAM and 120 GB HD for 300 Euros.

I think that's a quite fair price.

So my advice is to look for a used one with a proc upgrade built in.

The monster CPUs (surely fast) are quite too expensive.
In germany they are offered at about 40% of a new iMac 24", only the CPU!
That's a non realistic price, IMHO.

Question: Why not using the cube with original speed and Mac OS 9??
With exception of actual and differentiated 
browsers (and special OS-X gimmicks) everything 
else is possible with very comfortable speedŠ
