Hi,

Does anybody know how I can solve the following error:
When I starting up my Powerbook DUO 230 it loads a few extensions but then
I got a bomb error message saying: Sorry, can't find "HP background". Error
Type 41. (or something like that). And I can get past this. If I start up
with the extensions off, then the system hangs on the same spot only the
message doesn't display any text. I see only the dialog box.
I want to try to reinstall the Mac OS because I think it is a corrupted
finder file. But I don't have a floppy or CD-ROM station and I can't
connect to another Mac I think? Or can I. I also don't have the docking
station. What can I do? Please help.

Maybe connect the hard disk to antoher Powerbook?

Many Thanks,
Steven
