I think you have to eject all cardbus cards when shutting down with OS9 as well. Mine (OS9) will crash with any firewire or usb card inserted during start-up. >Also OS9 works better than 8.6 > cardbus-wise, e.g. if you forget to eject your cardbus card, the system > will crash on boot in 8.6. jake
