Is the 250 screen a known good screen? Plugged into the correct connector?
(Not sure you can plug them wrong) I had a problem like that on a 2300 and
it turned out to be a bad inverter and broken backlight in the screen. If
you shined a flashlight on the screen at an angle, you could see the stuff
on the screen. Just a thought.
