[DuoList] Unresponsive 280

Some time back there was some discussion about Duos that wouldn't boot
up in a dock or with AC adapter. I seem to remember something about
resetting the power manager etc., and maybe some other fixes. Anybody
have a "readers digest" version of what was decided or can tell me about
when the postings were so I can search the archives?
Also....
I want to replace the pram battery in my 280c.
Any suggestions as to sources?
