Ah yes, we are a good bunch!

You know after a very brief preliminary search I found that the Top
Case (922-2986) had one of the plastic tabs broken off. Of course I
am unaware of how it happened but seeing that it's missing gives me
the impression that it is most likely the plastic tab that is what is
rattling in there. So it's probably not so badly screwed up but the
tech did indeed screw up. Hopefully it won't provoke static to set
loose.

The rest is OT-
I am going to throw this kind of crazy idea out here but if I can't
get this little jewel to work I would like to offer a straight trade
for a Motorola Marco to anyone out here for a complete 2400c in
excellent working and aesthetic condition. I know the Motorola Marco
is a very rare item, it's a Newton by the way, and likely worth some
good money. Seeing I don't ever use it perhaps you can. This is offer
is not in anyway a sure thing but I will consider it. It's just very
hard to part with the Marco due to it's rarity, uniqueness and value.
Yes it is complete and does work. It hasn't got a scratch or scuff on
it but has one small chip near the mouth of where the pen is stored.
For the most part the chip is barely noticeable. Each would pay their
own way for insured post to and from Warsaw, Poland.

So this thread continues its course please email me off list if you
are interested in the trade.

Alex
