I know I used iTunes under OS 9.1, I don't think I needed a patch. 
But on a machinelike a 2300 it's going to be a dog.  Forget doing 
anything else on the computer at the same time, it's likely to skip 
some and I found it took upwards of a minute to respond to a spare 
bar press to pause it.
