I want to do a clean install so I can erase the hard drive of any information like social security and bank account numbers on the computer. I thought a clean install would erase the entire hard drive. Is this true or not? Use the multiple pass option. If you are really worried about any info on the drives the safest thing to do is remove and destroy them. If that is too extreme. there are some high security erasure product out there on the market. BG On Nov 1, 2007, at 1:59 PM, Rich Bussone wrote: > > > Hi all > > There seems to be some confusion. Make sure you have the Type 3 battery extention installed on your 230 and plug it into the powerbook to charge. IIRC, the battery CP should tell which type it is, if not, there's something that will. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
