I am also a collector of old powerbooks.   I have over 60 including a 2400c.  I 
also have one of the original 1984 macs model m0001.  sounds like you have a ton 
of accessories for your 2400.   I had to get mine from Japan because I couldn't 
find one in the US at the time.

your hard drive is bad.   get a new laptop IDE hard drive and replace it. they 
sell cheep ones on ebay.   you need an ata-5 (not ata-6) 2.5" drive.   Hard 
drives only last so long.  I have had several bad drives in my laptops.  My 
2400c sometimes doesn't want to boot because its hard drive is going bad.  Some

updated the site in a while.  I have been debating selling my collection to get 
back some of the shelf space in my house.  anyway good luck..

-My prize is a 2400c. I  have everything that was ever made for it. It has been 
working fine but  it will only give a clicking sound when trying to boot.
-Is there a still a repair service available anywhere?
