hello all,

maybe this question is posted here before, but i'm unable to brownse 
through old postings.

I own a Wallstreet powerbook 233Mhz running 10.3.6 on 384Mb of ram. I 
bought a generic combi usb/fiwi card but only the usb side will work. 
the system profiler doesnt even show info for the fiwi side.

is there someone with the same setup able to use fiwi out there?

what could it be? the supported drivers are for the os9 usb side only.

its not abnormal for the system profiler to not show things.... thats 
an old Apple bug....

if you are using 10.3.6 you do not need to install any drivers for the 
cardbus card UNLESS it is using a 'non ohci' compliant chip, or certain 
3rd party vendors chips are not directly compatible

do you have any idea what chip sets are being used in the card?

Miglia are coming out with a USB 2.0 DVR soluition that offers DiVx, MPEG2,
MPEG 4 compression that llooks really good. Also they have a $40 mail in
rebate available on the Directors Cut Take 2. Finally they have a newAudio
solution as well ? Garage band friendly, bus powered.
