we are talking mac monitor to VGA graphics card, correct??

i got my 2 mac 15 -> VGA adapters for my 15" apple multiscan and my 17"
  apple 705?
for $5 a piece from computer renaissance in rochester, ny. compusa had
them too, but charged $15 a piece. its not much different than the vga
-> mac except for the obvious...

i also made my own using a $5 bargain bin vga cord (compusa) and an old
mac monitor cable i had, it was pretty simple following schematics i
found online.
