[G4] Palm OS 4.1

Mel, I don't have a subscription. If you have time, could you check it for
me? This sounds presumptuous, but what I mean is if you want to, it
would be helpful, but if you're busy, I understand.

For some reason my Palm Hotsync won't work anymore on my G4
desktop. I'm trying to reinstall the 2.6.3 software, but it won't
complete installation. Maybe I should upgrade to 4.1? Can you upgrade
to 4.1 from 2.6.3? I'll install the OSX version on the G4 and the OS9
version on the laptop, and update the PDA from the laptop. If I save
my user file, I shouldn't lose data, right?

Palm won't give me any more free info, so I'm stuck.
