Can't start to OS9

Help!  I have a G4 350 with a recently upgraded processor, Sonnet 
Encore/ST G4 to 800 mhz  upgrade to Jaguar and prior to the upgrade OS9 
worked fine when I selected it to startup. Now it won't start up to OS9 
on my second drive. (one drive is OSX and the other OS9) The two drives 
show up in  OSX. I have to start from a 9.2 startup CD to access the 
OS9 hard drive and then select OSX to startup otherwise I all I get is 
a blank screen!
