CLASSIC WON'T START

Hi:

Just re-installed 9.2.2 clean, and even though the Classic preference 
pane says there is a valid system there, Classic won't start.  It just 
flips for a second as if it's going to go, then -- nothing.  No error 
message, just doesn't work.  Tried all the possibilities in the 
'Advanced' pane too.  No luck.

Running 10.2.4 on a Dual 500.

Any suggestions/similar experiences?
