Imic or Powerwave USB audio adapters ?

Hi all;

I have a Power Mac Quick Silver (2002) Running OSX 10.2.4.
I'm using ITunes 4 for ripping and burning audio CD's.

I'd like to connect the Mac to my home audio system so I can copy
some old records and tapes over to CD.

The Griffin Tech IMic and Powerwave USB audio adapters look
very interesting. Does anyone have 'first hand' experience with
either of these devices, good or bad ?
