[G4] CCC over Network?

I had no luck  CCC'ing over a network.  I would directly connect to the 
iBook but CCC would not recognize any of the iBooks mounted drives as 
an available source or target.  It sort of makes sense because if you 
were cloning over the iBooks System, wouldn't your network preferences 
be erased?
