SCSI and Mac G5

Hello list,

First I have to say that the new G5 looks impressive, but as a bad 
user I m having a few disapointments.

First I m wondering if any of the scsi cards that i own, such as 
adaptec 39160 will work in these new machine, because I have quit a 
few hard drive in SCSI...

Second is I assume that with these 64 bit processor running os9 is 
definitely forbiden....

I did not switch yet due to the lack of adequate hard disk driver.... 
Maybe I will have to change sys op anyway...

PS: my G4 500 is really feeling old :-(
