10.2.5

Ever since upgrading to 10.2.5 on my iMac G4-800, I cannot get my USB 
external Zip 100 to appear on my desktop.  My 64MB USB portable drive 
gizmo will not appear on the desktop either.  Both worked fine on 
10.2.4.
Anyone else have this difficulty?
Any ideas on fixing this?

Is it possible to backtrack to 10.2.4?  I've had it with 10.2.5.  It is 
NOT an improvement of any kind that I can see.  Its caused me nothing 
but trouble.
