Flicker on an older i-mac

Really, HIGHLY Not Recommended unless of course you know what you are
doing in there. These old CRT screens have enough juice in them to
light you up badly - even unplugged. They store enough power to kill
or seriously hurt you. If you do dig inside - Get the Service Manual
first.

I suggest :
Give it to a service guy and for about $100 he will fix the monitor.
Or buy another one as they are cheap now. Or, if the thing can mirror
with a second monitor then plug another monitor in and put it out of
the way (unseen) and treat it like a computer.
