Tip on G4 AGP CDRW replacement

One thing 'they' wll not tell you about is the mechanical interface issues
with some drives for the G4's in the gray case. I have a G4-450 AGP and
went thru four CDRW (that all worked) until I found one that would not hang
up on the case door.
As I recall there were two issues. One the drives with more than one button
gave me problems and some of the treys would hang up on the case door. I
finally got a Sony and it works great. There are better drives on the
market now but make SURE you can get a full refund if it does not fit. Some
charge a 20% restocking fee.
