Although I'm using and Apple wireless keyboard and a Kensington Turbo, the problem you are seeing is the same. The system must boot far enough to install bluetooth or the equivalent, which means, the start system has aleadt been selected. The option key is 'hardwired' and the boot looks for it before starting the system. Hope that helps Jim Burger
