It is amazing that many do not understand that writing an application for
any platform takes a relatively similar range of time and resources.

And if you sell the application to a 50 million users you can charge much
less than if you sell to only 5 million users.

You can whine about Intuit all you want but it doesn't change the economics
or positively effect the company's decision making.
