[G4] 3rd party wireless networking

I'm attempting to run a wireless network ( just for an internet
connection ) on a Quicksilver G4 733 using OS X 10.3.8. I've done some
research, and found that I should be able to use a D-Link DWL-G520 PCI
wireless network card if I install a driver from Orangeware (
http://www.orangeware.com/endusers/wirelessformac.html ).

However, once I've installed the card, my Mac refuses to boot up. It
chimes up, the processor starts up for a couple of seconds, then
nothing. Only a black screen. I've installed the driver already, and
have attempted to use a couple of PCI slots but the same thing happens
every time.

I'm hoping someone out there has managed to set up a wireless network
using a similar set up.

Any help would be appreciated.
